BECOME A MEMBER

Step 1: Fill out the Application

To begin the enrollment process for your child, please complete the candidate application. Once the application is completed, you will be contacted to set up a Candidate Interview.

Step 2: Attend the Open Enrollment Session

The applicant and a guardian attend a mandatory Open Enrollment Session. During this session, the applicant and the parent are made aware of the program's requirements. This session usually occurs in late August, but another opportunity may occur in January. A child will only be considered for membership if attending this session.

Step 3: Induction

At the end of the club year (June), prospects who complete the requirements will participate in the Lowcountry Youth Services Induction Ceremony. The candidate will be introduced as an official Distinguished Gentlemen's Club and Queens' Being member during this ceremony. They will receive club regalia and recite each program's Creed with fellow inductees.

For Queens' Being and Distinguished Gentlemen's Club, there is a non-refundable Commitment Fee of $100 per child, per year. This payment is required by the end of the first month of the active semester. These funds go directly into the LYS Program Finances.
